As the EU Presidency passes from Ireland to Lithuania at the end of December, we invite Ireland-based Lithuanian musician Gediminas Karkauskas to Paris for a special evening of live music in the beautiful setting of the CCI chapel.
An internationally renowned jazz pianist, Gediminas Karkauskas will be joined by bassist Cormac O’Brien. Together, they will present a programme of expressive jazz, improvisation and memorable melodies in this intimate and atmospheric space.The event celebrates not only the transition of the EU Presidency, but also the rich cultural connections that bring Ireland and Lithuania closer together through music, creativity and artistic exchange.
This concert is presented as part of the Jazzycolors Festival (FICEP), in collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland in Paris and the Institut Culturel Lituanien.
