Concert by pianist Antti Siirala

Winner of the prestigious AXA Dublin International Piano Competition 2003, Antti Siirala was born in Helsinki in 1979 into a musical family. His international career was launched when, as the youngest contestant, he won First Prize in the 10th Vienna Beethoven Competition. In 2000, he was awarded First Prize in the London International Piano Competition.

Antti Siirala has performed with the English Chamber Orchestra, Wiener Kammerorchester, Wiener Kammerphilharmonie, Latvian National Orchestra, Warsaw and Krakow Philharmonic Orchestras and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, to name but a few. Siirala frequently plays contemporary music and makes recordings for the radio and TV networks.
