In official selection at Sundance and Rotterdam, MARGARET it’s Rebecca Daly’s second film. The film was also in official selection at Les Arcs European Film Festival in 2016 for their focus about directing women. In September 2017, the movie was in the selection for the previews of the British Film Festival of Dinard.
Portrait of a contemporary woman living in Dublin, the film handles -in a very sensitive way- how difficult it is for a mother to grief the death of his child and at the same time how she discovers her newborn feelings for a marginalized young man from her neighborhood.
An impressive casting -currently in vogue- with well-known Barry Koegan (Mise à mort du cerf sacré -Cannes 2017 and Dunkerque) and Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under and When we rise). We also note the presence of Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones and The Fall).
