Seen Fifteen
Ciarán Og Arnold, Megan Doherty, Martin Seeds
For the weekend of Paris Photo, Vivienne Gamble has selected three emerging Irish photographers to exhibit at Espace Lhomond, CCI’s neighbouring gallery.
Founder of the Seen Fifteen gallery in London, the Belfast-born curator has chosen Ciarán Óg Arnold, whose body of work constitutes a portrait of Galway youths hit by the 2008 recession; Megan Doherty, who captures Northern Irish night-life in Stoned in Melanchol; and Martin Seeds, whose work Assembly is set in the Stormont Estate, home of the Northern Ireland Assembly, and alludes to the fragile political landscape. A triptych of gritty solo exhibitions.
