Originally from Carlow, brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn have taken the Irish folk scene by storm over the last two years, playing on RTE’s emblematic music series Other Voices, at the Electric Picnic and for President Michael D Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin. Their rich harmonies nod to the 1960’s folk revival while encompassing influences from Irish traditional music and Appalachian singing. This evening’s concert takes place in the intimate setting of the chapel, perfectly matched to their thoughtful lyrics and heartfelt performances.
