In recent years, a wave of young artists has released some of the most innovative and striking albums on the Irish folk scene. The traditional Irish vocal group Landless is one of them. Hailing from Dublin and Belfast, the four singers - Lily Power, Meabh Meir, Ruth Clinton and Sinead Lynch - released their acclaimed albums Bleaching Bones (2018) et Lúireach (2024). Tonight, as part of the Rage Sacrée festival, their four-part harmonies will blend and resonate in the chapel with uplifting intensity for an evocative rendition of their repertoire of folk songs and ballads.
“..when Landless step onstage and open their mouths, the hush in the room is louder than any amplifier hum” (The Irish Times)
