Brendan et le secret de Kells

An Irish-French-Belgian animated film by Tomm Moore, the story is set in the ninth century. Brendan is apprenticed in the scriptorium of the monastery of the Abbey of Kells and has heard the story of Aidan, a master illustrator. Aidan himself comes to the monastery and brings the Book of Kells he is working on. He shows Brendan the beauty of art and stimulates his creativity and fantasy. To help complete the magical book, Brendan has to overcome his deepest fears on a dangerous quest that takes him into the enchanted forest inhabited by mythical creatures.
