Béal Tuinne

This Kerry-based group of singers and musicians started as a collaboration between the composer Shaun Davey and the legendary traditional singer and box player, Seamus Begley. The line-up now includes the beautiful singing of Rita Connolly and Eilis Kennedy supported by the powerful voice of fisherman Lawrence Courtney. The orchestration of the songs features Eoin Begley on concertina, Jim Murray on guitar, and Shaun Davey on pedal harmonium. Extra colour is added by Lawrence’s banjo and Eilis on whistle.
