Aoife Desmond

The artist-in-residence Aoife Desmond will spend the autumn exploring the relationship between nature and the urban environment in Paris, starting with the courtyard of the Centre and working outwards through surrounding streets and gardens, finally reaching the banlieu. She is interested in the points where the wild meets the manmade, in peripheral consciousness and peripheral vision. She will use drawing, walking, photography, film and installation in the making of her project.
