Gaulin Club – Antaine O Faracháin

The Gaulín Club is a meeting place and platform for people who enjoy singing and listening to traditional song. While Club members are welcome to sing, they are also welcome to just listen. While there will be an emphasis on Irish song, any traditional song is valued. Each month sees a new guest traditional singer play ‘fear a’ ti’ (host).

Antaine O Faracháin is a traditional singer who performs in Irish and in English. He is a member of the organising committees for both 'An Góilín' traditional singer's club and the 'Sean-Nós Cois Life' festival in Dublin. He has produced and presented four television series about traditional singing for the Irish language TV station TG4 and is an experienced teacher of singing workshops
