The launch of this magnificent book of photographs by Agnes Pataux, with a foreword by Colm Toibin marks a love of Ireland's savage terrain by this French photographer from the Pyrennees. Agnes Pataux's view of Ireland - Connemara, Mayo, Antrim - is informed by an understanding of the natural forces and the Irish people, that have combined to give Ireland a ruggedness, reflected also in its music and literature.
