With Ingo Hipp, Sam Comerford (saxophone), Laurent Méteau (guitar), David Helm (bass guitar), Matthew Jacobson (drums)

Recently in residence at CCI, Sam Comerford returns to Paris with the modern jazz quintet AERIE of which he is an integral part. Founded in 2013, the group is truly European, encompassing members from Ireland, Germany and Switzerland. Together they have played over 60 concerts around the continent and just recorded a new album called Sonic. AERIE creates exciting sounds, connecting written material and improvisation with rock and jazz grooves. Expect the unexpected: crazy flights, elegant sails, diligent hunting… while always checking for limits.

This concert takes place during the opening of the exhibition Corban Walker Come What May.
