A Tribute to Irish Cinema

Founded and directed by Irena Bilic, the 8th edition of the film festival L’Europe autour de l’Europe takes as its theme “Remembering and Becoming”. The festival provides a space for discussion of ideas, encounters between different cultures and examination of diverse aesthetics in a context of European partnership. A selection of Irish films, contemporary and from the archives, will be screened in the presence of directors, producers, writers and actors who will contribute to workshops and discussions around the main theme. Screenings will take place in the CCI, in other cultural centres and in selected cinemas in Paris such as l’Entrepôt, the 3 Luxembourg and the Studio des Ursulines.
