Visits of the Old Library and of the exhibition
Gulliver 300

The CCI invites you to visit the Old Library and the exhibition Gulliver 300 in association with Marsh's Library in Dublin.

The "Bibliothèque Patrimoniale" is one of the few remaining library that populated the colleges, convents and monasteries of the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève until the end of the 18th century. These visits are also an opportunity to (re)discover the history of the Centre Culturel Irlandais, heir to this rich educational and cultural tradition.

On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the publication of Gulliver’s Travels, the CCI is partnering with Marsh’s Library in Dublin to present the exhibition Gulliver 300 in our Old Library. This collaboration highlights the richness and universal reach of Jonathan Swift’s work through a selection of early editions, objects, and documents from both institutions. Imagined as both a heritage and contemporary experience, the exhibition will also be extended online with a bilingual virtual version.
