The sonic experiments, discoveries and evolutions of Beckett’s radio play All That Fall (1956) are re-imagined by director Adrian Dunbar for the Beckett Unbound Festival.

This ambitious three-day festival explores Beckett’s wild fascination with communication and technology’s traversal of time and distance across a programme of theatre, music, film, dance, photography, and discussion.

Captivating live performer Jack O’Rourke composed music to Brendan Behan poetry during his recent residency at the CCI. Inspired by traditional music and sean-nós, there are also nods to classical and contemporary influences.

Described by Irish Music Magazine as “a deep and powerful performer”, traditional folk singer Macdara Yeates leads our special Gaulín as part of Behan 100.

A host of special guests celebrate the centenary of one of Ireland’s best-loved writers, with performance, song and lively discussion that reveal how post-war Paris influenced Brendan Behan’s writing.
