From 11 to 15 June, we'll be welcoming musician and songwriter Jamie Duffy for lunchtime concerts at 1:15pm as part of our pop-up café.

With Pas Moi / Not I, actor Clara Simpson takes Beckett’s notorious monologue and performs it in both French and English back-to-back, reflecting Beckett’s bilingual journey as well as her own.

Rough for Radio II is a radio play by Beckett written in French as Pochade radiophonique and first published in 1975. This festival version is recorded in situ by inmates of HM Prison Liverpool.

Irish photographer John Minihan photographed the great playwright Samuel Beckett many times in Paris and London. In this illustrated talk, John Minihan speaks about his encounters with one of the greatest writers of the 20th century.

This special festival concert responds to the theatre and dance programme via six contemporary works, featuring three world-première commissions and two UK / France premières.

C’est Moi Dans la Poubelle is a film rendition of the meeting between Beckett and Ezra Pound, according to Beckett's account, with treatment by James Lever and directed by Michael O’Neill (Armchair & Rocket).

Having collaborated with emblematic French actor Denis Lavant on a number of Beckett's monologues, Jacques Osinski has taken on a new, exciting andfrightening challenge: his favourite play, Beckett's Fin de partie.

This dance piece is a Beckett Unbound 2024 Festival commission created by choreographer Liz Roche in collaboration with performer / composers Nathalie Forget and Nick Roth.

The sonic experiments, discoveries and evolutions of Beckett’s radio play All That Fall (1956) are re-imagined by director Adrian Dunbar for the Beckett Unbound Festival.

This ambitious three-day festival explores Beckett’s wild fascination with communication and technology’s traversal of time and distance across a programme of theatre, music, film, dance, photography, and discussion.

Over the last three years, Michael Hanna has set out to change his deep-set allegiance from Everton Football Club to their arch rivals, Liverpool. This exhibition documents the artist’s transition as well as highlighting themes of tribalism, empathy, solidarity and identity.
