Chapel Sessions Breanndán, Cormac, Clíodhna Begley & guest Liam O’Connor

The name Begley immediately conjures up the musical richness of West Kerry. From generation to generation, this illustrious family have kept alive the authenticity and inventiveness of the Dingle Peninsula's vast repertoire. Tonight the multi-generational ensemble is led by the acclaimed accordionist Breanndán Begley, accompanied by two of his children, Clíodhna on the fiddle and Cormac on the concertina, who are joined for the occasion by Liam O'Connor, director of ITMA, also on fiddle. On the eve of their (sold-out) concert at Cité de la Musique, this quartet's inimitable energy creates a joyous alchemy and marvellous musicality in the intimate surroundings of the CCI’s chapel.
