Born in Lithuania, Vaida Varnagiene has lived and worked in Dublin since 2007. A multidisciplinary artist and printmaker, Vaida’s practice is informed by her qualifications as a landscape architect and designer. She is a member of Graphic Studio Dublin. Her work has been exhibited and included in collections all over the world. During her time at CCI, Vaida will explore Parisian museums most especially those concerned with Asian artistic traditions and the manner in which Impressionists and Post-Impressionists experimented with Japanese techniques.
