Una Mullally is a writer with The Irish Times, where she runs the Ipop culture blog PopLife, as well as an author and spoken-word artist. She writes about LGBT issues, feminism, social justice issues and the arts. She co-founded the ‘Come Rhyme With Me’ event, spanning all elements of spoken word from poetry to rap. Her first book, In The Name Of Love, an oral history of the Irish marriage equality movement, was published in 2014. At CCI, she will work on her second book on contemporary feminism in Ireland, improve her practice as a spoken-word artist and add to her writing about Irish queer identity.
