Thomas Martin

Thomas Martin is an Irish screenwriter. He was awarded the Sundance Institute’s Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Commissioning Grant in 2013. His work in film also won him a place on the Guiding Lights Programme – the UK film industry’s leading mentorship scheme. Thomas has worked on top television dramas for RTE and the BBC and is currently writing an original drama series for BBC Northern Ireland. He will use his time in Paris to focus on researching a new film as well as finishing The Absence Sonata – a screenplay he is writing for Rainmark Films with the support of the Irish Film Board and Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute.
