A graduate in Fine Art from NCAD in Dublin, Stephen Brandes is a visual artist who works in drawing, painting and most recently large-scale digital collage and animated slideshows. In 2011, he began a fictional travelogue built from both observation and invention, across multiple media. During his residency, he will be gathering Parisian material to pursue this travelogue.
