Siobhán Parkinson

Ireland’s first Laureate for Children’s Literature (2010-12), Siobhán Parkinson has been writing for over twenty years and has published twenty-five works of which two are novels for adults. She is also a publisher with Little Island Books and translates children’s novels from German into English. At the CCI, she will work on a novel for 10-12-year-olds, based on a conversation she had with a little girl she met during a workshop she ran here at the CCI in 2012! http://www.siobhanparkinson.com/
