Shane O’Reilly

Shane O’Reilly trained as an actor and writer at Trinity College Dublin. He has performed with The Abbey Theatre, The Gate Theatre, Rough Magic, Druid, Landmark, Barnstorm and Prime Cut along with other Irish and international companies. He has also written extensively for film and theatre as well as working as a dramaturg in both dance and theatre notably with Liz Roche (Dēmos), Emma Martin (Birdboy), Emma O’Kane (Jockey) and Paul Curley (Bake!). While at the CCI he will create the first draft of a new play called Father Figure that was commissioned by Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise.
