Sarah-Jane Scott is a playwright and performer from Tuam, County Galway. She studied Drama at Queen’s University Belfast before training at the Oxford School of Drama. Her debut play Appropriate was developed as a Show in a Bag for Dublin Fringe Festival has since toured nationally and internationally. She participated in Druid Theatre’s artist development initiative FUEL and the Abbey Theatre’s 20for20 initiative in 2019.
She is developing a new play about all the different ways a person can be lost. Her main character is a woman who one day goes to Paris searching for truth. Her CCI residency will allow her to develop the Paris section of her story, allowing her to capture the true essence of the city.
