Ruth O’Donnell

Visual artist Ruth O’Donnell will use her residency to make an extended series of studies of ceramics - drawings and watercolours - in Paris museums and will research images of ceramics in still-life and narrative paintings as part of her continuing interest in the survival of the fragile. O'Donnell is primarily a printmaker specialising in etching, monotype and carborundum prints. She has been an active member of Graphic Studio Dublin since 1991. Recent exhibitions include: Variations on a Theme (2013), Lines of Descent (solo exhibition) (2012), both at Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin.
