Ruth Clinton and Cormac Mac Diarmada

Ruth Clinton (Landless) and Cormac Mac Diarmada (Lankum) are two thirds of the music trio Poor Creature. For their residency at CCI, Ruth and Cormac will work on new original songs for Poor Creature, as well as creating arrangements of traditional pieces, drawing particularly on songs sourced from 19th century ballad books as well as sheet music for organ and piano in the Old Library collection.
