Ruby Wallis

Ruby is a photograph whose work often focuses on gendered experiences. She recently completed her PhD in Fine Art Media at the National College of Art and Design (Dublin) and works now also as an art lecturer. Her work explores themes of embodiment, fragmentation, the history of feminisms and the rejection of privileged Western Canons. She has recently developed an increasingly collaborative and experimental practice focused on different narratives and voices disrupting a single dominant gaze.
