Rob Doyle

Rob Doyle’s debut in the Irish literary world has been noteworthy. His first novel Here Are the Young Men (2014) was chosen as a book of the year in The Irish Times, Sunday Times, Independent and Sunday Business Post. It was shortlisted for the Newcomer of the Year award in the Irish Book Awards. His second book, This Is the Ritual, was published in January 2016. Rob is also a writer of essays and literary reviews. While in Paris, he will work on a new book which combines fiction, autobiography and travel-writing as well as critical and biographical explorations of writers such as the Romanian philosopher Emil Cioran - who lived in the city for many years - Georges Bataille and André Breton. https://robdoyle.net/
