Neil Ó Lochlainn is a composer and musician from County Clare. His work is dedicated to exploring a contemporary musical language inspired by Irish traditional music. He is co-founder and musical director of the award-winning Ensemble Ériu and chamber ensemble Cuar. In 2019 he was a Next Generation bursary recipient from the Arts Council. During his time at the CCI, Neil will compose a new suite of music for Cuar based on Samuel Beckett's short story collection Texts for Nothing.
