November 2021 — February 2022
Nadia J. Armstrong is a Dublin-based visual artist. She works at the intersection of the analogue and the digital - using performance, writing, 3D avatar design and expanded video. Her art questions the systems and networks of control within which the modern human finds themselves. Her 2021 exhibitions include 'Woman in the Machine' at VISUAL Carlow or, 'Boredom is Not a Luxury' at CRAFT Central, London.
While on residency at the CCI, Nadia is working on a new video piece which questions the technocratic developments of machine learning systems that replicate the human consciousness.
