Michael O’Loughlin

Michael O'Loughlin was born in Dublin in 1958. He has published many collections of poetry, the most recent of which is In This Life (2011). He has also written screenplays, essays, short fiction and is active as a translator, particularly of Dutch poetry. During his residency he will be working on translation of his work with French translators. In recent years he has spent a lot of time in the Montagne Noire in Languedoc, heartland of the Troubadours, and he plans to work on some translations from their work.
