Michael Gallen is an Irish composer, songwriter and performer. He is the singer with Irish band Ana Gog while recently he has composed work for the RTÉ Concert Orchestra/Cór na nÓg, Chamber Choir Ireland, Crash Ensemble and the Contempo String Quartet. During his time at the CCI he will be composing a new large-scale opera entitled "Elsewhere", based on the story of the 1919 Monaghan Asylum Soviet.
