Mario Banushi is a director and actor. Born in Albania in 1998, he moved to Greece at the age of six and studied drama at the Athens Conservatory. Despite his young age, he has already collaborated with internationally established Greek artists. In 2018 he worked as an assistant to renowned artist Euripides Laskaridis during the performance Thirío at the Athens Biennale. He also worked as an actor, in 2020, and directed Pranvera, his first short film which was screened at the Tirana International Film Festival. His first stage production Ragada was presented in part at the ROOMS2022 festival and then at the In Sala theatre. In 2023 he presented his performance Goodbye Lindita at the experimental stage of the National Theatre of Athens, which was considered by a great number of Greek critics to be one of the best of the year.
