Manchán Magan

Manchán Magan is a writer and travel documentary-maker. During his residency he will focus on the first draft of a novel. He will also work on the final draft of a bilingual play commissioned by the Abbey Theatre and finish a film script for a modern-day adaption of Caoineadh Airt Ui Laoghaire which goes into production in June 2012. He has written six books in English and Irish as well as two bilingual plays. He writes the Magan’s World column for the Irish Times. http://www.manchan.com/
