Linda Curtin

Visual artist and filmmaker Linda Curtin is the first winner of the CCI's new Tomi Ungerer residency for socially engaged artists. Through the making of a short artistic documentary, she aims to explore Malian village solidarity in Montreuil otherwise known as 'Mali-sous-Bois” where the Soninké coinhabit with the French and Parisians, as their undocumented hairdressers, their mechanics and chefs. Linda will look at this new generation of Malians, or ‘new French’, through their heritage and blending culture.
