Best known as a member of the alternative rock group Hothouse Flowers, which he formed in 1985, Liam recorded a solo album of songs in Irish ten years ago and plays with the traditional group Ré whose live album was recorded in 2014. A man of convictions, Liam is a member of the international Nuclear Free Future movement.
