Larissa O'Grady

Violinist Larissa O Grady’s repertoire encompasses a wide range, from baroque to important 20th century works and new compositions by some of today’s most innovative and exciting composers. As a member of Ireland’s leading contemporary music group, Crash Ensemble, she has premiered the works of Donnacha Dennehy, Ann Cleare, Nico Muhly and David Lang.

While at the CCI, Larissa plans to record urban city sounds to take an audio snapshot of life in Paris, and layer her own violin over them as the voice of an observer to the city.
