Julie Morrissy is a poet from Dublin. She was the first poet-in-residence at the National Library of Ireland in 2021-22, during which she published a pamphlet of poetry, maps, photography, translation and research notes titled Radical! Women and the Irish Revolution. She also created and hosted an eponymous podcast series. Her awards include a creative writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities (US), the Newman Fellowship in Creativity, the MAKE Theatre Award, and the Next Generation Award as well as a bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland. At the CCI, Morrissy will work on a new project about tennis.
