John Holten

John is an Irish writer, author of two novels: The Readymades (2011) and Oslo, Norway (2015). He has written short fiction, and non-fiction for several literary magazines; and co-produced and edited many literary and visual art projects. He is working on a new novel and has recently become interested in new forms of storytelling such as podcasts and computer games. His MMO game SEED combines themes of transhumanism and the climate crisis.

While in CCI, he will work on a new first-person novel related to visual art and artists’ lives.
