Joe Hogan

Joe Hogan has worked as a basketmaker for over 35 years. For the last 15 years he has become increasingly interested in making artistic or sculptural baskets. This work is prompted by a desire to develop a deeper connection to the natural world that surrounds him. Poetry is another source of inspiration. He has published books on basket-making and participated in many international exhibitions. He will study objects in the Musée du Quai Branly and explore collaborations with French-based masters of his art. https://www.joehoganbaskets.com/
