Instant Dissidence (Rita Marcalo & Gerard Headley)

A professional dance artist and choreographer, Rita Marcalo is the Artistic Director of Tipperary-based, award-winning dance company Instant Dissidence. Connecting art and social consciousness is of primary importance to the company through socially and ecologically-engaged artivism, including travelling
sustainably from Ireland to Paris. In order to create new work following the residency, Rita and fellow company member Gerard Headley will be researching what is left behind in spaces like hotels (or the rooms at the CCI) by the many different people that occupy them.
