Ingrild Nicola et Bogdan Sofei (Duo Conté)

Based in Connemara, violinists Ingrid and Bogdan are the founding members of ConTempo string quartet. They have performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the world - Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall NY, Théâtre de Châtelet, Berlin Philharmonic, Opera House Tel Aviv, Palazzo del Quirinale - and received fourteen international chamber music awards. In Paris, Duo Conté are researching the violin duet works of two composers, Jean-Marie Leclair and Swan Hennessy, whose contributions to the musical world of the capital are separated by nearly two centuries.
