Fionna Murray

A painter living and practicing in Galway, Fionna Murray is the CCI’s first artist-in-residence. Her widely exhibited paintings and works on paper explore the uncertainties ingrained in a fragmentary world. Observing interior spaces, her paintings emanate a quiet radiance through her use of soft and muted palettes. Her works feature in public and private collections at home and abroad.
