Fearghus Ó Conchúir

Born in the Ring Gaeltacht, Fearghus completed degrees in English and European Literature at Oxford, before becoming choreographer. Frequently collaborating with artists from other disciplines, his film and live performances create frameworks for audiences and artists to build communities together. His multiplatform work, The Casement Project was part of ART:2016, the Arts Council’s programme for Ireland 2016 and the Culture Ireland International Programme. Then, he became in 2018 Artistic Director of the National Dance Company Wales.

During his residency at the CCI, he will be reconnecting with his international network of partners and mobilising what he has learned over the last two years to determine the next phase of his creative development.
