Fearghus O Conchúir

Fearghus Ó Conchúir is a choreographer and dance artist who frequently collaborates with experts from across and beyond the arts. His films and live performances create frameworks for audiences and artists to build communities together; he is currently leading a project with MicroRainbow International providing creative dance workshops for LGBT refugees and asylum seekers. From 2018 to 2020, he was Artistic Director of National Dance Company Wales and is currently the Deputy Chair of the Arts Council of Ireland. He plans to use his time at CCI to reconnect with his solo practice and with a network of dispersed collaborators to determine the next phase of his creative development.
