Dominic Montague

Dominic Montague is a playwright and theatre maker working across stage, site-specific and audio drama. His practice centres on exploring the relationships we forge with the spaces we inhabit, and how the myths (old and new) we build around these spaces can challenge, transform, and enchant our worlds. Based in Belfast, he has worked across Ireland and internationally. He is the current Playwright in Residence with the Lyric Theatre, Belfast, an associate artist with Prime Cut Productions and a past member of the BBC Writers Room NI. During his residency he will be developing a new piece of work exploring ‘story as commodity’ and presenting two promenade audio theatre experiences; ‘Quartered: Belfast, A Love Story’ and ‘Calling The Corners’.
