Darragh McKeon

Born in 1979, Darragh McKeon spent most of his early career as a theatre director. He has worked at The Royal Court (London), The Young Vic (London) and Steppenwolf (Chicago). His writing has been short-listed for the Francis MacManus Short Story Award and the Filmbase/ RTE Short Film Award. Published in 2014, his first novel is a powerful account of the Chernobyl disaster entitled All that is Solid Melts into Air. It was translated into French in 2015 under the title Tout ce qui est solide se dissout dans l'air. McKeon is currently working on a novel that interweaves the industrial revolution in Argentina and Uruguay with the Jazz Age in Paris. https://www.darraghmckeon.com/
