Chris Guilfoyle

Guitarist and composer Chris Guilfoyle leads the critically-acclaimed quintet Umbra, who have released two records and toured all over Ireland and Europe. He is also a founding member of the Dublin Jazz Co-op collective.

While at the CCI, he intends to write duo pieces and collaborate with musicians based in Paris such as saxophonist Stéphan Payen, vocalist Lea Fries, bassist Florent Nisse, pianist Joe Makholm and drummer Christophe Lavergne.
