Benjamin Dwyer

A prolific composer and virtuoso guitarist, Benjamin Dwyer has appeared as soloist with Irish, European and Brazilian orchestras. Also a leading exponent of contemporary music and free-jazz, he featured in the prestigious Krakow Autumn Jazz Festival (2014). His Irish Guitar Works CD was released on Cortijo in 2012. During his residency, he is working on a song cycle for soprano and guitar entitled Sobre los Ángeles based on the poetic sequence of the same title by the renowned Spanish poet Rafael Alberti (1902-1999). http://www.benjamindwyer.com/
