Atoosa Pour Hosseini

Atoosa Pour Hosseini is Dublin based artist and filmmaker. Her works are influenced by historical avant-garde cinema and explore questions about illusion, reality, and perception through the media of film, installation, sculpture, and performance. She is a co-director of the Experimental Film Society. Recent exhibitions and screenings include Temple Bar Gallery; Irish Museum of Modern Art; Project Arts Centre; fsk Kino am Oranienplatz, Berlin; Jeu de Paume, Paris; Museum of the Moving Image, NYC.

During her time at the CCI, she will explore and research how films produced by female filmmakers in France have developed from the 1920s to the present day. She will use the resources available at the archives of La Cinémathèque Française.
